FAQ

  • What kind of art do you create?
I create intuitive abstract paintings that blend emotion, psychology, and storytelling—each piece is one-of-a-kind and often includes poetic elements or text. I often work on raw canvas but also have primed canvas paintings. I stretch my own raw canvases. Artwork on paper looks great in any frame you like, is an affordable option to start your journey and can be purchased right here.
  • Are all pieces original?
Yes, every artwork I offer is an original. I do not sell prints—each piece is unique. You'll appreciate the beautiful texture of an original only you have.
  • Do you accept commissions?
Yes, I occasionally create commissioned pieces. If you’re drawn to my style and have a personal story, emotion, or space you'd like to honor with a custom artwork, I’d love to hear about it. Commissions can be great to celebrate something that's important to you or your loved ones and therefore are great gifts as well. I can write quotes, lyrics or Bible verses on your personal painting. I approach commissions with care and intuition—we’ll talk about your ideas, size preferences, and what you'd like the painting to reflect. From there, I’ll guide you through the process step by step. Please note: I only take on commissions that align with my artistic approach, so for example I don't do figurative paintings, but they can be a great inspiration to translate into my style. Let’s find out together if it’s the right fit.
  • Where do you get your inspiration from?
I'm a mixed media artist—and so is my inspiration. I draw from music, books, street style, personal growth, and everyday challenges. My interests are wide-ranging, and so is my taste in music: one day it’s Mozart, the next it’s Doechii, Taylor Swift, gospel, or traditional Japanese sounds. I love a good deep-dive (Brené Brown is a favorite), and I’m not afraid to get a little nerdy. My faith, too, is a steady thread that runs through all my work, highlighting my hope.
  • Does my interior style go your art?
My work complements clean and natural interiors with wood and linen elements, but it also adds energy to colorful, bold spaces like dopamine interiors. The abstract nature makes it surprisingly versatile. Still not sure? No problem. I can show you what any of my pieces would look like in your room if you send me a photo of the wall you're looking to level up and tell me the width of it. It will help a lot.
  • Do the colors in the photos match the original artwork?
Please note that colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.
  • How can I stay up to date with new work and studio updates?
You can follow me on Instagram and Pinterest and sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know about new releases, behind-the-scenes updates, and special offers.
  • Why do you write on your paintings?
For me, words and art go hand in hand. The writing you see on my paintings often comes at the very end — once I stand back and see it as a whole. It’s usually a short phrase or sentence but sometimes even a whole poem. Many collectors tell me the words make the message feel even more personal and grounding — an anchor. I do, however, also experiment with paintings that don't have words on them. Let me know if you're looking for something specific.
  • How can I purchase a painting?
For artworks on paper, you can buy directly via the shop on this website. For larger pieces or commissions, please contact me directly to arrange the purchase. I want to make sure, I can help you directly and guide you step-by-step.
  • Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, I ship internationally. Shipping costs and delivery methods vary depending on the artwork's size and destination. We’ll discuss and agree on everything before finalizing your purchase. Please note that to make shipping of larger paintings more affordable, I offer shipping the canvas in a tube (off its stretcher bars). A local framer can put the painting back up on its stretcher bars in no time. But if you don't mind the cost, of course this step can be avoided.
  • How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated individually. Smaller works are usually affordable to ship, but larger or international shipments may require special packaging or carriers. Home deliveries close to Leipzig are possible. To safe shipping costs, it's possible to take most paintings off their stretcher bars and ship in a more affordable tube. A local framer can easily put the painting back up (and add a frame if you like).
  • How long does shipping take?
You're buying from an artist directly. To ensure that your artwork arrives safely and with the attention to detail it deserves, please allow enough time for shipping. Moreover, delivery times vary depending on your location and the size of the piece. I'll do my best to make sure you get the painting as fast as possible, but care and safety is more important, so you'll be able to enjoy your artwork to the fullest.
  • Can I return a painting if I change my mind?
Due to the nature of original art, returns are generally not accepted. However, if there’s a problem with your order, please reach out and we’ll find a solution together. For commission pieces there are different rules that I'm happy to discuss with you before starting that process.
  • What about frames?
Unless specifically requested, most works are sold unframed. Modern paintings don't need frames but some look amazing with a frame, e.g. in a floating frame. I’m happy to suggest framing options if you’d like help. Also keep in mind that depending on the size of the painting frames will have to be custom made and therefore more expensive. Artwork on paper is really elevated in a frame and you can look for a frame that matches your interior style as well as your budget.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    I accept PayPal.
  • How do I know if a piece is available?
vailable works are clearly marked on my website. If you're unsure or want to double-check, just send me a message—I'm happy to help.
  • What do the paintings come with?
Each painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and a ready-to-hang installation on the back (for canvas pieces). They're all signed.
  • How can I make sure a painting looks good in my home before buying?
If you're unsure, send me a photo of your wall (with measurements, ideally the wall’s width), and I’ll create a digital preview of the artwork in your space. This way, you can confidently choose what fits best.
  • Is there a discount if I buy more than one piece or return as a loyal customer?
Absolutely! I offer a 10% discount for returning customers or when purchasing more than one artwork at once.
  • Is shipping included in the price?
Shipping is not included, as costs can vary depending on the size of the artwork and your location. I’ll personally discuss the most suitable and affordable shipping method with you before finalizing your order.
  • Do friends of previous customers get a discount?
Yes! Friends of existing collectors receive a 5% discount. Just send me an email and mention who referred you — I’d love to know how you found me.
