Frequently asked questions
I create intuitive abstract paintings that blend emotion, psychology, and storytelling—each piece is one-of-a-kind and often includes poetic elements or text. I often work on raw canvas but also have primed canvas paintings. I stretch my own raw canvases. Artwork on paper looks great in any frame you like, is an affordable option to start your journey and can be purchased right here.
Yes, every artwork I offer is an original. I do not sell prints—each piece is unique. You'll appreciate the beautiful texture of an original only you have.
Yes, I occasionally create commissioned pieces. If you’re drawn to my style and have a personal story, emotion, or space you'd like to honor with a custom artwork, I’d love to hear about it. Commissions can be great to celebrate something that's important to you or your loved ones and therefore are great gifts as well. I can write quotes, lyrics or Bible verses on your personal painting.
I approach commissions with care and intuition—we’ll talk about your ideas, size preferences, and what you'd like the painting to reflect. From there, I’ll guide you through the process step by step.
Please note: I only take on commissions that align with my artistic approach, so for example I don't do figurative paintings, but they can be a great inspiration to translate into my style. Let’s find out together if it’s the right fit.
I'm a mixed media artist—and so is my inspiration. I draw from music, books, street style, personal growth, and everyday challenges. My interests are wide-ranging, and so is my taste in music: one day it’s Mozart, the next it’s Doechii, Taylor Swift, gospel, or traditional Japanese sounds. I love a good deep-dive (Brené Brown is a favorite), and I’m not afraid to get a little nerdy. My faith, too, is a steady thread that runs through all my work, highlighting my hope.
My work complements clean and natural interiors with wood and linen elements, but it also adds energy to colorful, bold spaces like dopamine interiors. The abstract nature makes it surprisingly versatile. Still not sure? No problem. I can show you what any of my pieces would look like in your room if you send me a photo of the wall you're looking to level up and tell me the width of it. It will help a lot.

For me, words and art go hand in hand. The writing you see on my paintings often comes at the very end — once I stand back and see it as a whole. It’s usually a short phrase or sentence but sometimes even a whole poem. Many collectors tell me the words make the message feel even more personal and grounding — an anchor. I do, however, also experiment with paintings that don't have words on them. Let me know if you're looking for something specific.
